CardDecko v0.2 by Blizo CardDecko v0.2 by Blizo
Alpha 0.2

It customizes the cardgames.dll file so you can add your own decks and backgrounds.

This is a huge achivement. These decks are added in a manner that is totally MS.

It does NOT overwrite your existing decks and backgrounds.

Nothing to it. Just choose some images and thats it. The actual cardsheet is created using the original sheets, so it still looks great.

Since this only mods the card games, there is no risk of destroying your install.

Redid the UI and fixed some bugs. New bugs may have been introduced with the new UI.

Ok I love this it works (Im on a 64bit system). Heres step by step instructions.

1) On the far right of the page just under the images, is a link that says Download File. Save or open this file. I recommend to start, putting it on your desktop.

2) Open My Computer and in the top navigation enter C:/ProgramData and press enter. Create a new folder and call it "CardDecko". Inside that folder, create another one called "Themes". You can also access this folder by navigating from the C drive to the ProgramData folder IF you have system files and folders unhidden.

2b) You probably do not want the application staying on your desktop. Go to your hard drive and into Program Files. Create a new folder and name it CardDecko. Drag the application inside this folder. Right click on the application and choose 'Create Shortcut'. Rename the shortcut (you can delete the .exe part in the shortcut). Then drag the shortcut to your Windows start menu icon and place it where you want it. I just placed mine in the Games folder.

3) Double click on the CardDecko.exe file you just saved, and it should load. Or, if you created a shortcut, click that instead.

1) To change the appearance of the card deck, click Create New Deck. At the top, enter the name of the theme for this card deck. Next to the image of the back of the card, is a folder icon. Click this to select your JPG image. You can also select the four squares below that to change the outer color of the border of the card. Click Save & Exit.

2) To change the background of the game, click Create New Table. Again name this theme, then at the bottom select the folder icon to select your picture. Try to choose a background picture that is not too noisy. Also try picking an image that is high resolution.

1) In the main CardDecko program you will see the themes you have created. To apply that theme to your game, click the theme, and you will see 3 icons appear. Click the + icon. Then, open a game as you normally would and go to Change Appearance, and you will see your theme in the list.

2) To delete a theme from CardDecko, simply click the X. To delete a theme that was applied to the game, in CardDecko click Installed Themes.

*I havent included how to import or export themes in this, as I havent done it. But it looks pretty self explanatory. The reason you would want to export (its the second icon down, under the X, when you click on a theme) is if you want to share your theme with another person who also has CardDecko. Import - if someone shared with you..
